WHO WE ARE

Community Push continues to bridge the gap between skateboarders and their communities.

{ WHAT WEVE DONE }

The Wig” DIY Skatepark

In August of 2014, a group of skateboarders banded together with a single goal in mind, to give the city a multifunctional, alternative recreation facility to be designed, built and maintained by the community, for the community.

Within a year's time, “The Wig” took a shape nobody saw coming. Over 100 volunteers donating thousands of hours of labor to creating a place to call home. A home to grow as skateboarders, builders and more importantly, as a community.

{ OUR FUTURE }

"HONOR ROLLERS"

A program that is currently being developed to encourage the youth to stay in school, get good grades, and be rewarded for doing so through skateboarding.

A PERMANENT HOME

The Wig unfortunately is not permanent. However we won't let that stop us. We have a few locations on our radar to build a new home. For six years we have been working to get a skatepark at Roosevelt park and will continue to do so.
